Privacy Policy
Datenschutzerklärung
Courtesy translation. The German version is the legally binding one. This policy covers this website. The HeinzelApps service is not available yet; we will extend this policy before it launches.
1. Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is wemogy GmbH, Graf-Bernadotte-Straße 23, 47906 Kempen, Germany, e-mail: hello@heinzelapps.com. Further details are on the imprint page.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is a set of static files served through GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the site is accessed, technical access data is processed automatically (IP address, date and time, requested resource, user agent, referrer). This data is required to provide, stabilise and secure the website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation). The transfer to the USA is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), under which GitHub is certified as part of the Microsoft group of companies; EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) are agreed in addition.
3. Typefaces
The typefaces used on this site are delivered from our own server together with the website. No connection to a third-party server is made and no data is transferred to a font provider.
4. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. A consent banner is therefore not required.
5. No analytics or marketing tools
We use no analytics, tracking or marketing tools and build no usage profiles. Should this change, we will update this policy in advance and obtain any consent required.
6. Contact by e-mail
The “Book a demo” button opens your own e-mail program with a prepared message to hello@heinzelapps.com. There is no contact form on this website; nothing reaches us until you send the message yourself. We process the data it contains solely to answer your enquiry (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
7. Recipients
The following party is involved in providing this website:
- GitHub, Inc., USA — hosting and delivery of the website (see section 2).
Transfer to any other third party only takes place where we are legally obliged to do so (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
8. Retention
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes named. Server logs are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident. E-mail correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. sec. 147 German Fiscal Code, sec. 257 German Commercial Code) apply.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR);
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR);
- objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
An e-mail to hello@heinzelapps.com is enough to exercise them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR); the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
10. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
11. Changes to this policy
We adapt this policy when the website, the service or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available at this address; the date is shown above.
